Hurricane Bhangra

Founded in 2003, Hurricane Bhangra is a co-ed collegiate dance team that strives to showcase its love of bhangra, a Punjabi folk dance. In Miami, the team participates in local University of Miami functions and other events around the city, both public and private.

 

Hurricane Bhangra has also made a presence on the competitive scene, competing in competitions across the nation. With its debut in the spring of 2012, the team traveled to its first-ever national competition , My Life Is Bhangra, in Boston, MA. Ever since, the team has traveled nationwide every year, captivating audiences with each move. 

 

This team is a family, and the collective passion and love for this dance shines through in every performance.
